Thoughts On BlOgGiNg
What i think of blogging is kthat i don't want anyone to know about my personal life besides myself and others that i decide to let them know myself. Also i think that blogging is another for a stalker or stranger to find out more about you than someone should know... I prefer using other things to talk to people like chat rooms.

I don't want you to feel uncomfortable for even a second. It's nice to know you're guarded. You should be! A lot of people your age will say anything. Here's what I'd like you to do -- only post English stuff. Take off anything about yourself and use a false name. I see you used your last name. Let's change that. And don't answer any questions that aren't literature related. Sound good?

I always teach my grade 6/7 students to be internet savvy and only use their first name in their blog. Also try not to mention things like name of school or name of sports teams etc.
Personally, I feel a chat room would be more unsafe than a blog but as an adult I use both. You just have to take care not to give away anything personal you want to keep to yourself.
